According to two Channel 16 audio recordings captured today, two Indian vessels were forced back west out of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran's Sepah (IRGC) Navy. Firing was involved. One of the vessels is an Indian-flagged VLCC supertanker carrying 2 million barrels of Iraqi oil. Meanwhile, India is still importing Iranian oil. With friends like these..... #OOTT #Tankers #IranWar

Despite unequivocal warnings from the IDF spokesman to residents of southern Lebanon who had fled their homes not to approach their villages due to continued IDF operational activity, in the past 24 hours there has been a massive movement of Lebanese returning south. This move poses a direct security challenge to Israeli forces operating in the region. Via "C14" (Israel)

"Our blockade is because of their blockade, and their blockade is because of our blockade." ────────────── Iranian military officials said Saturday that conditions in the Strait of Hormuz have reverted to "strict control," citing the continued U.S. blockade of its ports, just one day after declaring the waterway “completely open.” “Control over the Strait of Hormuz has returned to its previous state, and this strategic waterway is now under strict management and control of the armed forces,” a spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya military command headquarters said. “Until America allows full freedom of navigation for vessels traveling from Iran to destinations and vice versa, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will remain under strict control and in its previous condition,” the statement added. nbcnews.com/world/iran/ira…

Conservative commentator Mark Levin said on Friday US President Donald Trump is uniquely positioned to secure a deal with Iran, while expressing concern about whether future administrations would uphold it. “Only Donald Trump could bring us to this point… The Iranians are on their back, and they’re going to cut a deal with Donald Trump—and he is going to make a very tough deal with them," Levin said on Fox. "My concern is, when Donald Trump leaves, you hear these Democrats—there’s not one of them, not one of them other than Fetterman—who, if they become president, will uphold a deal. I’m very worried about that. They’re not going to send the military in. They’re isolationists. They’re anti-American, and their base won’t allow them to do it," Levin added.

It’s actually hilarious. I got blocked by Dr. Anas Alhajji for saying he’s always sitting on the fence and never taking a clear stance. Don’t get me wrong—regardless of my pushback, I’ve always publicly agreed he’s one of the most knowledgeable and passionate ppl in this industry. Anyway, this is one of the rare occasions where he’s actually taken a clear side without his usual business-driven neutrality, and I agree with him. I’m usually not one to blame market manipulation, but in this case, it’s clear Trump lied in lockstep with Araghchi’s recklessness, so I can’t help but agree with the skeptics to some extent. In the real world, nothing has changed. A US President lying like this... he’s truly gone off the deep end. I expect Brent to claw back its losses in the coming days. #oott #iran

Israel says that Hezbollah broke the ceasefire. Hezbollah will probably respond by explaining that they never agreed to accept the presence of Israeli troops on Lebanese soil. Then Israel will turn to the Lebanese government and tell them they they agreed to disarm Hezbollah. Via "C14" (Israel): A serious violation of the ceasefire: Six IDF soldiers were wounded today (Friday) with injuries of varying severity as a result of an IED explosion during an operational activity in southern Lebanon. Two of the soldiers were seriously wounded, and the others are in mild to moderate condition. The wounded were evacuated to a hospital in northern Israel, and their families have been notified.

@HFI_Research I suspect the statements will be reconciled by explaining that the Strait is "open" for some, but not for all (i.e. enemies).

It's better for Iran and the US to exchange statements rather than missiles, but boy haven't they issued like a hundred of them in the last 24 hours. And we aren't much wiser than we were a day ago.

So, Iran said Hormuz is “reopened” and you believed the situation is back to normal? Always tell them “nice story” and go check the data. I noted the U-turns earlier on X ( see below) and how some ships tried to text exit via Hormuz. Tehran won’t make it easy and will maintain influence in the maritime domain. #OOTT #Shipping #Iran

1/4 So Iran said Hormuz is “reopened,” and you believed the situation is going back to normal? Nothing new today. Iran is still in control of how ships navigate. There’s a new navigation order in Hormuz. Iran should be expected to continue maintaining influence over the maritime domain. (Link below) #OOTT #Shipping #IranWar
