We are in the right direction, ED is working 24/7 to take our country to a better place. The new Mosi‑oa‑Tunya International Cricket Stadium in Victoria Falls, now 80% complete, proves that Zimbabwe will never kneel again. A 10,000‑seater world‑class arena, ready to host ICC events and power sports tourism. We need to give ED additional years to finish his vision. In other developed countries like China, Saudi Arabia, or the UAE, elections are not seen as the prerequisite for development. In fact, elections must be seen as a hobby people participate in after the country reaches the “drive to maturity” stage, not the “take‑off” stage in economic development sense.

It's important to acknowledge the great work that retired Chief Justice Luke Malaba did, whether you like him or not. He oversaw major judicial reforms, which included decentralisation, digitisation and the expansion of legal infrastructure. What is critical for any Gvt appointee is to be a nationalist and patriot while supporting the Admin of the day, which he did. He can now rest and devote his time to farming. The coming in of Chief Justice Elizabeth Gwaunza, in a historical move that makes her the first female Chief Justice in the country, is a commendable decision by the President. This is the kind of appointment that advances the empowerment of women, not through rhetoric but by trusting them through appointments. CJ Gwaunza deserves this appointment as she has been in the system for years and has exhibited much ability. This appointment is also a nod to regional balance, and President Mnangagwa has shown great tact through it. This brings more confidence in the judiciary. All we ask for as traditional leaders is that more support be given towards our traditional courts and empower our clerks to understand the law so that we can deal with smaller issues. As traditional leaders, our bias is towards mediating for resolutions that allow people to continue living in harmony. Traditional courts can be empowered to deal with cases such as stock theft, and this will help reduce the challenge of case backlogs and long trials, which have dogged the system for years. While the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) and its Secretary, Dr Walter Chikwana, have done sterling work in expanding virtual courts and online trials to expedite the delivery of justice, more still needs to be done.

Yesterday, I challenged Rutendo Matinyarare to share the video in which Dr. Tagwirei allegedly promised that the money collected from the Land Tenure program would be used to compensate white farmers. I said that if he managed to share the video, I would denounce ZANU–PF. This is a big challenge because I love ZANU–PF as much as I love my mother. Furthermore i have seen attempts to recycle old allegations relating to the elections held in Zimbabwe THREE YEARS ago, together with references to my ongoing DIVORCE proceedings in South Africa, as though civil litigation somehow transforms an individual into a CRIMINAL SUSPECT 🤣🤣🤣. My divorce matter is exactly what it is…a PRIVATE and CIVIL dispute between ESTRANGED spouses. The existence of an interim court order or RULE NISI issued in Johannesburg does not, by any stretch of IMAGINATION, convert anyone into a fugitive or “person of interest.” Equally, regarding the EXHAUSTED election-related allegations, I have publicly stated before that I had absolutely no involvement whatsoever in the supply of election materials to the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission. The Commission itself has issued a PRESS STATEMENT to this effect. Even the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission which conducted a 2-year FORENSIC INVESTIGATION on this matter cleared me. As such, the so-called FIC Reports which are being recycled from 2 years ago are of NO MOMENT whatsoever and a mere SMEAR CAMPAIGN against me for my UNAPOLOGETIC SUPPORT for ZANU PF and its sister REVOLUTIONARY Party, the ANC !!! It will be remiss for me not to say this….I appreciate that in AFRICA, being wealthy or owning PRIVATE JETS and owning a fleet of ROLLS-ROYCES automatically makes you criminal, a person who uses “JUJU” or worse still, “A PERSON OF INTEREST”.
