For the colleagues & friends I haven't had the chance to speak to in the last 24 hours: I've just been diagnosed with a large aggressive malignant brain tumour; having major surgery followed by further unpleasant treatments, starting next week.

@davebosanquet I have used them frequently for high risk groins, most of my colleagues are on board and nursing staff are becoming more familiar with it

Do you have any experience of ‘closed incision negative pressure wound dressings’ on major lower limb amputation wounds? Do they work? Do they stay in place? Are they generally 👍 or 👎. Have you got access to them should you wish to use them? Would love to hear your comments.

Finished my last shift as a “junior doctor” last night almost 20 years to the day I started medical school. Had a great year completing the lower limb fellowship with a superb team @GSTTnhs special thanks to @EndovascularU for his amazing support, guidance and mentorship
