The criminal regime of the Islamic Republic did not come with negotiations, so we expect it to leave with negotiations. رژیم جنایتکار جمهوری اسلامی با مذاکره نیامده که انتظار داشته باشیم با مذاکره برود #IranMassacre

🇮🇷 In 2025, the Iranian regime carried out at least 13 public executions by crane hanging, a significant increase from the five recorded in the previous year. These executions typically involve hanging individuals from cranes mounted on trucks, a method used to maximize public visibility and instill fear in the population. This practice, which has roots in the post-1979 Islamic Republic era, is designed to deter dissent and criminal activity through spectacle and humiliation. The victims are often lifted slowly by the crane, leading to death by strangulation rather than a quick neck break, prolonging their suffering. Among the 13 public hangings in 2025, most were for charges like murder, though the overall surge in executions that year—estimated at over 1,900 to 2,200 total hangings—reflects a broader escalation in the use of capital punishment amid ongoing political tensions and repression. Human rights organization have condemned these acts as cruel and inhumane, noting that they often follow unfair trials marred by torture and lack of due process. The increase in public executions, nearly tripling from 2024, aligns with a pattern where the regime uses such displays to suppress unrest, particularly targeting marginalized groups like ethnic minorities.

⚡️THIS IS A RAID ⚡️ Iranian artists are creating under the longest, most far-reaching internet blackout the country has ever faced. Access disappears. Voices get muted. Still, artists tell us the same thing, being collected reminds them they’re not alone and empowers their fight. Explore the curation. Share the work. Collect if you can. It’s not a complete curation of every artist that needs support, but it’s a strong entry point. Deep appreciation to @normalistoxic for the labor, care, and intention behind this curationl. 🔗 objkt.com/curations/objk… #ThisIsARaid #TIARtez #Tezos
