when is somebody going to solve the problem of the biggest LLM's in the world being fundamentally inaccurate sources of information ? this is ostensibly hyperbolical to demonstrate a point; that literally is what is going on, and it's insane LLM's like GPT, Claude etc—particularly for answers on current affairs, politics what have you—are based on news articles.. so literally you'll ask it a question and it'll summarize talking points from a CNN opinions piece.. ..making OpenAI incredibly invalid as a source of truth or even information If anything, this is an alarming illustration of how information and Truth can be controlled. Something that is supposed to be the answer, is just not, and it purports to be (not always but this is often the case). The average person is getting their answers from LLMs more and more and this is only going to explode from here on; people will read something and obviously assume it's right, when the thing that told them it's right was literally just a cover for MSNBC.. this is fucking nuts and seems relatively simple to prevent @grok @sama @elonmusk

Trump named Musk and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy to lead the "Department of Government Efficiency," an outside commission aimed at identifying federal programs and spending to cut. After Trump was sworn in, multiple lawsuits were filed against the Trump administration claiming that the move violates federal transparency laws.
