Why I voted for Xavier Becerra: He’s the most qualified person on the ballot. Son of farmworkers. Stanford Law. Former California Attorney General, where he sued the Trump administration more than just about anyone else. He’s also been a longtime proponent of single-payer healthcare, long before some of these candidates decided it was politically convenient. But more than all of that, he’s a decent man.
