@SteadyHabs My only concern is the number of games they’ve played, I worry how tired they are. I think they win the first game because the Canes will be rusty and I do like the matchup too. I just hope they don’t run out of gas.

I was more fearful of the Sabres than any team, with that being said I believe the Habs match up far better against Carolina.

He’s a beast but needs some insulation. Dobson helps in so many areas, especially transition. The top line, nevermind Matheson needs him back

@Matt_S_Britton I don’t disagree that Hutson-Dobson is by far their best pairing, but Matheson needs Dobson bad right now. Hutson can get by with anyone.

If Dobson is coming in, he plays with Matheson, because it’s brutally needed. Matheson can’t be trusted in transition and with the puck in his stick in his own end. Dobson made his life easy this season.

Next season will be the real test for MSL and Hughes And it’s all about Mike Matheson. Do you keep him? Trade him? If you keep him, is he still a top 4 player getting 25+ minutes or does he finally get the 17-18 minutes he should be playing? Personally, I’d trade him and play Engstrom instead in those bottom pair minutes. Vets are not gonna be needed as the core of Suzuki and Dobson become the Vets

It amazes me how many are saying Matheson Like are we being for real here ?? The guy that shut-downed the opponents top line allllll season long Yeah he has occasional brain farts, but Matheson is a key player , without him the D is doomed defensively
