Awesome to be with you guys today. Terrific game between North Laurel (54) and Breathitt County (53). Memories of old times. One of my favorite rival high school coaches was Breathitt County master motivator Fairce Woods who won 14th Region 5 years in row (1959-1963).

Thoughts and prayers go out to the victims in Eastern Kentucky. Many friends from the area have been sending pictures and sharing the stories. So sad to see the devastation in communities that were already trying to recover from the last natural disaster. My heart breaks for the 14 people who lost their lives, may they rest in peace. Ellen and I will be making a donation to Governor Beshears relief fund. We may no longer be residents of Kentucky but know the power of the community and what they can do when they come together. Please join us in donating to the relief fund if you are able.

From a personality and coaching standpoint, the best fit for Kentucky Basketball is 2010-2019 Calipari…innovative, dynamic and in a mutual love fest with the fanbase 2020-2024 Calipari has been a different guy…antagonistic, frustrated and withdrawn. That can’t continue The question for me has always been whether he can get back to his old self. I thought this was the year to do it. And it just didn’t happen. Whether it can again is I guess Barnhart’s determination
