Having suffered through 88% on-ice goaltending this season and having two more years at $4.4M, Marino could be a very strong buy-low candidate for a team looking for a bit of stability and puck-moving at the 2RD position.

Marino is a second-pairing defensive defenceman but also a very slept-on puck mover. AllThreeZones' tracking had him with 12.2 possession exits per 60 in 2023-24, 3rd in the NHL behind only Quinn Hughes and Erik Karlsson. Not physical or very effective in the offensive zone.

The Blue Jays are now 32-10 when scoring at least three runs. THREE.
