Wow: New Bears WR Kalif Raymond chose to sign with Chicago in free agency over the Lions to play in Ben Johnson’s offense.
“I wanted to play in Ben’s offense. He’s extraordinarily creative, and honestly, you can be in any spot on the offense, and he will find a way to get you the ball. Just to be under him is a great privilege.”
Detroit football has not been the same without him.

Ben Johnson said he sent Caleb Williams a meme of someone bricking a bunch of 3s before Williams was in the NBA’s celebrity All-Star contest. When Williams struggled for the ball to find its way through the hoop, Johnson joked that he felt bad. He made clear that Williams does not have NBA aspirations.

For Chicago, I'd rather sign Trey Hendrickson or Joey Bosa than trade for Maxx Crosby.
Going the Hendrickson or Bosa route has multiple advantages:
1) It allows Chicago to use draft capital to fix other spots on the team with cheap salary(DT/DB likely)
2) Doesn't completely shut the door on Austin Booker and Dayo Odeyingbo(who GM Ryan Poles said could be back this Spring)
3) Chicago will also have more $$$ to use on the rest of the team
4) One could debate who's even a better player between Crosby and Hendrickson
-Crosby(turns 29 in August) is the youngest of this group, but he'd be the most expensive(draft picks + maybe a new deal $$$)
-Hendrickson is 31 and played for Dennis Allen in New Orleans. Sportrac estimates $25.5M per year.
-Bosa turns 31 in July, but has the lowest ceiling of this group. He only signed for $12.6M this last offseason
