Martial arts grandmaster and action star Chuck Norris has died, his family said in a statement. He was 86. Norris was a six-time undefeated World Professional Middleweight Karate champion. He founded the United Fighting Arts Federation, as well as a style of karate sometimes known as Chun Kuk Do.

"We moved to Newport Beach in 2011 when my husband, Nate, received a new job. We decided to rebuild our home and were living in a rental nearby. Just before Christmas, Nate was killed in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. "Our children were 13, 16, 19, and 22. It was during COVID, and overnight, everything familiar disappeared. There were days when simply getting through felt like too much. "Our congregation became our second family, and my children became my strength. We eventually finished rebuilding our home, and instead of feeling empty, it felt like a fresh start, a place to keep moving forward while still carrying him with us. "What carried me was steady faith in Christ and His sacrifice for each of us. Easter has taken on a deeper meaning for me because of it. The Resurrection isn’t just something I believe in, it’s the hope I live by. Because of the Savior, I know this loss isn’t permanent. Love doesn’t end. Families don’t end. "I miss Nate every day, but I don’t feel alone. I believe he continues to care for our children from the other side of the veil. Greater love, to me, is what Easter teaches, that love sacrifices, heals, and lasts beyond death. Because Christ lives, this separation is only for a moment, and one day, we will be made whole again." — Pamela #GreaterLove

The American Embassy is being evacuated in Riyadh because of sustained attacks by Iran against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is my understanding the Kingdom refuses to use their capable military as a part of an effort to end the barbaric and terrorist Iranian regime who has terrorized the region and killed 7 Americans. Question – why should America do a defense agreement with a country like the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that is unwilling to join a fight of mutual interest? Americans are dying and the U.S. is spending billions to dislodge the terrorist Iranian regime that threatens the region. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia seems to be issuing statements and doing things in the background that are marginally helpful, but unwilling to participate in military operations to end the reign of terror coming out of Iran. Hopefully Gulf Cooperation Council countries will get more involved as this fight is in their backyard. If you are not willing to use your military now, when are you willing to use it? Hopefully this changes soon. If not, consequences will follow. nytimes.com/2026/03/08/wor…
