@Bkitch1Bodie What is the Kernal count on that ear? Looks like 16X40ish? Are there 2 ears that size on each plant? I’m just not quite seeing where 238 bu/A is coming from. Im genuinely impressed with the ear size and look at the crop on no N. Even 100-120 is pretty amazing if no N applied.

@Bkitch1Bodie 2# of N or 28# of N? You stated both in the replies unless I’m reading it wrong. What we’re the soil tests? What are previous crops? Pretty sure Matt already eluded to that. Some context would be great here. What else was applied?

2# of N update corn. The last week was pretty brutal in NC Oklahoma but this corn handled the 107° temperature today and the above 100° last week. Will be interesting to see if it stays together for 3.5-4weeks til the combine can get it! 🚨🚨🌽🌽🌽🌽🚨🚨

@TrentLanie If following crop will be cotton or beans, Sinister has been a really good option. Rotation restrictions are pretty tough in your area though. I also like the Anthem (or Zidua)with a Flumy.

Well, it's official, I start on my next career journey with AGCO as an Aftersales Training Specialist on Monday. Looking forward to getting back to my mechanic roots. I don't know what equipment I'll be training on as of yet but looking forward to the new challenge.

@TrentLanie Did you treat with a NBPT product? Remember half will be there, it’s not subject to gassing off. Only the Urea half in the UAN is potentially volatile.

I applied my first shot of N way back in early December. We didn’t receive rain for several months so I was worried a bit about volatility. My test strip shows it’s still here.
