Janet Yellen needs to come to Congress and show us the books, define her arbitrary June 1st deadline, and explain how much revenue the government already takes from the American people and businesses. And tell the press too. Creating unfounded hysteria is ridiculous.

Let's remember how we got here—10 days out from a Biden default on the national debt. He ignored the looming crisis for months, despite my repeated calls to negotiate. Because of his inaction, he risks bumbling into the first default in American history.

The president has to get serious. It's 10 days out from him defaulting on the debt. I have been clear from the very beginning: Democrats' addiction to spending led to skyrocketing inflation, dependence on China, and record debt. Now, Washington must spend less.

Most Americans pay taxes & do it honorably. When you add 87,000 IRS agents it's not to go after the rich, it's to go after middle class families & small business owners. What Biden wants to do is find every possible dollar to pay for his radical spending. Why would WE do that?
