Someone asked the question this morning why TX homeowners are not getting the $24B surplus back that they overpaid. $1B went to Hollywood $1B went to School Vouchers $1B went to Data Centers and the rest, well..... 👇 The 89th TX legislature gave us 55 new government agencies - many of these members are appointed by the Governor. 🤦‍♀️ All the members on these board will receive your taxpayers dollars, as well as paying for any staff they hire to run the offices. This is the GOP's handywork. What happened to the GOP principles of smaller govt? Where was the TX DOGE that was formed in the legislature this session? #SaveTexas tlc.texas.gov/docs/sessions/…

@rebelbroker @WallStreetApes NGO's are an overwhelming waste of money. They are a middleman that sucks money form the supposed cause they servel and kick some of it back into the political machine that created them.

I get your point, but NGOs are not inherently a bad thing. The idea was that these organizations that do something 24/7 will be better at it than government. However, the problem is a lack of oversight and measuring outcomes with a very likely complicity on the part of politicians that exploited this scenario for personal gain.

Here’s the context. The Dignity Act was written BEFORE H.R. 1, when Congress significantly increased immigration personnel. So we worked to build a bipartisan solution to a real problem: not enough personnel to process asylum claims. Because this bill ends catch and release. People are kept in federal custody until their case is decided. That’s how you STOP abuse. Completely. But if you’re going to enforce the law, you need the staff to do it right. That’s where this idea comes in. It’s modeled after a proven program that incentivizes professionals to serve where they’re needed most, offering PARTIAL student loan repayment in return for service. And let’s be clear: this isn’t new. Federal loan forgiveness programs already exist across government. Again - open to ideas and feedback on this.

This is a new idea, modeled on the Rural Physician Loan Repayment program AND we’re open to feedback. It’s not core to the bill. And with new funding for DHS personnel under H.R. 1, the OBBB, it may not even be necessary. Bottom line: we’re focused on what matters: enforcement, accountability, and getting this right.
Brick Suit@Brick_Suit

@RepMariaSalazar Ok. I read your "Dignidad" act. What's up with the part where lawyers get their loans forgiven for defending illegals? You want taxpayers to fund lawyers to give illegal aliens permanent residency! Screw you and your Spanish language "Dignidad" act.

Kat - they receive ZERO federal benefits or entitlements. None. No housing. No food stamps. No Social Security. And they must purchase their own health insurance so they are not a burden on hospitals or ERs. At the same time, they pay full taxes. They contribute to the system, without drawing from it. Paying in. Not taking out. And on top of that: $1,000 per year + 1% of income. This $$ goes straight to debt reduction and investing in the American workforce.

Americans and westerners tend to believe that everyone thinks and reasons in the same way. That is simply not true.
Cynical Publius@CynicalPublius

RE: Islamic Culture in the Middle East and Central Asia I sense that too many Americans do not understand the public face-saving that is integral to Islamic culture in the Middle East and Central Asia. I recall numerous times I dealt with government or military officials in the region where they let me know that what was being said publicly was in no way related to what was actually going on. A leader or politician in these countries will never, ever publicly say the truth if the truth suggests weakness or vulnerability. Never. It just does not happen. They will lie publicly with outrageous bombast, knowing full well that what they are saying is untrue, because their culture demands it. Additionally, they respect the strongman. The strongman who speaks with ferocity and then backs it up with deeds is always respected (or feared, depending on the situation). These are vital concepts to understand when analyzing the public pronouncements of the Iranian regime and the Truth Social declarations of President Trump. The Iranians must save face no matter what. Literally none of their public pronouncements can be trusted as being accurate or truthful. At the same time, when Trump posts things like “ending a civilization,” he is NOT TALKING TO YOU. He is talking to the mullahs in the only language they understand. In fact, as the Democrat/Media Complex derides Trump as an idiot for such pronouncements, HE is the one who is culturally attuned in a very profound way that totally flies over the heads of his critics. These are vital concepts that must be understood to accurately interpret the very public exchange of declarations between Trump and the mullahs.

READ. THE. BILL. BEFORE. YOU. OPEN. YOUR. MOUTH. Calling the DIGNITY Act “amnesty” isn’t just wrong. It’s a deliberate distortion and it exposes just how little you know about the bill. This is enforcement first: zero tolerance for criminals, permanent border security, and hard, earned requirements to step forward and face the law, so American workers are protected, not undercut. Amnesty is the chaos you’ve defended, millions in the shadows, no control, no accountability, and a system that stopped working a long time ago. No shortcuts. No giveaways. No blanket forgiveness. That’s law and order. That’s DIGNITY.
Congressman Brandon Gill@RepBrandonGill

The Dignity Act is mass amnesty and would constitute a terrible betrayal of our voters.

Election Integrity is non existent in Texas. It’s not the average everyday true Texans but the Election Officials at county level who are culpable. “Nothing to see here,” is their cry. Their days are numbered. They over-exposed themselves this time by fixing the algorithm to be too big not to notice. More to come on that. Lesser culpable, but definitely responsible to a degree are; The official “Grassroots” organizations who only do two things; 1)support candidates who already have millions of dollars. 2) line their own pockets with donations. Then there are the bought and sold political pundits who say they don’t like Abbott but do all they can to thwart organic campaigns. They have lost the trust of the clear minded Texans. For us, all we can do is to continue to expose, analyze and disseminate truth. We cannot back off of these entities if we want to see our Republic return. The Republic of Texas deserves better.
Joseph L Trahan for Senate District 15@JosephLTrahan

How stupid are Texans? or Was it massive election fraud? or both? There is no way WEF Fellow @GregAbbott_TX legitimately had 83% of the vote state wide. Post election I've had a total of 1 person tell me they voted for Abbott and MASSES tell me they voted for @DocPete4Texas. Something is WAY off. Texans can't be so stupid as to vote for a 4th term of ever increasing out of control homeowner property taxes. They just can't be that stupid. Where are the pockets of these stupid people??? I want details. Wherever these stupid people are, I want to know. They are the perfect group to buy our new thumb hammer massage treatment program. I'll have my vans pull up with "thumb hammers" so they can all stand in line to pay $20 a lick to have their thumbs smashed with a hammer. FOUR Time Abbott voters are the PERFECT market for this product. If Abbott REALLY got 83% of the primary vote, my business will be a smashing success. More than once a day if they like. I really want to know where these Abbott voters are.

For a variety of reasons, I hate the BMD's even more than the tabulators and think the DRE's - even with a VVPT are the devils own handy work and should have been sent to burn in the fires of hell the day the idea of them was conceived. A lot of emphasis has been placed on the tabulators, but I have wondered if the BMD's/DRE's weren't a bigger part of the problem. In Texas, the voting system is issuing the ballot numbers using a system that no one understands. The Hart system leaves gaps in the numbering sequence, ostensibly for ballot privacy reason's. I don't think anyone with two brain cells in close proximity actually believes that is the real reason. We know we have problems with poll book data changing or being manipulated. couple that with with inside information from the BMD's and there is a powerful set of tools to use in manipulating an election. We never see inside the BMD's. Who's to say they aren't recording the votes as cast. We know damned good and well that the DRE"s are and the BMD's are nothing but their step children,.
Mark Cook@PatriotMarkCook

Emergency Notice: Critical Exploit Vector in Early Voting and Pre-Poll-Close Tabulation Processes – Broad Compromise Scenarios Date: April 7, 2026 To: All State and Local Election Officials, Election Directors, and County Clerks Subject: Immediate Action Required – Prohibition of BMD and DRE Systems Due to Irremediable Data Exfiltration Risk from Vendor or Third-Party Infiltration This notice details a sophisticated manipulation vector involving real-time voter turnout tracking combined with actual early vote data. When voting systems can be infiltrated—whether by a compromised vendor or third-party bad actors—the systems cannot be trusted or used, as they enable undetectable exfiltration of precise vote data that can be leveraged for targeted ballot stuffing prior to poll closure. Threat Description Sophisticated actors, including compromised vendors or third-party bad actors who have infiltrated systems through hacking, supply-chain attacks, insider access, remote exploits, or any other available means, can harvest real-time voter check-in data alongside actual tabulated vote results from Ballot Marking Devices (BMDs) and Direct Recording Electronic (DRE) machines during early voting. This enables dynamic modeling to determine the exact number, type, and distribution of fraudulent ballots needed to offset legitimate votes. Infiltrated BMDs and DREs can exfiltrate vote data through hidden channels regardless of physical seals, network disconnection attempts, or claimed security features. Because these systems generate and store vote data in real time while voters are still casting ballots, the harvested information allows precision adjustments via mail-in or drop-box stuffing before polls close. Post-poll-closure use is impossible, as voting ends when polls close. Therefore, BMD and DRE systems present an irremediable risk and cannot be deployed in any capacity if system trustworthiness cannot be independently verified against all infiltration vectors. How the Exploit Can Be Executed ▫️BMDs and DREs capture and potentially transmit exact vote totals during active voting periods. ▫️Combined with poll-book data, this creates a real-time predictive model for surgical ballot stuffing. ▫️Infiltration (vendor or third-party) allows covert data extraction even from ostensibly secured or air-gapped systems. ▫️Fraudulent ballots are then injected to precisely offset real votes, defeating audits based on compromised machine baselines. Required Mitigation Steps Election officials shall implement the following controls immediately. These measures assume BMD and DRE systems are fully untrustworthy due to infiltration risks and prohibit their use entirely. Prohibition of BMD and DRE Systems Immediately cease all use of Ballot Marking Devices (BMDs) and Direct Recording Electronic (DRE) machines for any voting. ▫️Do not deploy these systems at any point in the election cycle, including early voting or Election Day, as no post-poll-closure voting window exists. ▫️Transition exclusively to hand-marked paper ballots as the sole method of recording voter intent. Secure Handling of Existing Paper Ballots ▫️Treat all previously cast ballots on BMD-printed records as paper-only where possible, subject to full hand count. ▫️Store all ballots in tamper-evident, sequentially numbered containers under continuous bipartisan or multi-party observation. ▫️Prohibit any machine tabulation or data output from compromised systems. Chain-of-Custody and Processing Protocols ▫️Keep all mail-in and drop-box ballots sealed and unprocessed until after poll closure. ▫️Perform all tabulation via hand count or independently verified, non-vendor-dependent methods after polls close. ▫️Reconcile totals solely against voter check-in records using paper-based procedures. Mandatory Paper-Based Verification ▫️Conduct full hand counts or rigorous risk-limiting audits based exclusively on original hand-marked paper ballots. ▫️Ignore all data or totals originating from BMDs or DREs. ▫️Publish precinct-level results only after independent paper-based verification and certification. Immediate Notification and Escalation ▫️Distribute this notice to all poll workers and observers. ▫️Report any continued use or suspected data exfiltration from BMD/DRE systems to state and federal election security officials immediately. ▫️Engage independent forensic auditors for equipment assessment where prior use occurred. Critical Guidance BMD and DRE systems cannot be used safely when infiltration by vendors or third-party actors is possible, because they enable real-time data exfiltration during active voting, with no viable window for secure post-closure operation. The only reliable mitigation is complete prohibition and exclusive reliance on hand-marked paper ballots under strict human oversight. Election officials bear ultimate responsibility and cannot delegate integrity to potentially compromised electronic systems. Failure to prohibit BMD and DRE use exposes the election to undetectable manipulation. Officials are directed to confirm receipt and implementation status, including confirmation of transition to hand-marked paper ballots, to their state election authority within 48 hours. - End of Notice -

There are actually two provisions that allow voting at multiple locations. The CWPP program for election day which is authorized by 43.007 of the Texas Election Code and 85.066 which authorizes voting at any early voting location in the larger counties. Election day and Early Voting are almost two separate elections. They are each run very differently in Texas and then we throw mail voting on top of i with another set of ruls.

@MikeTCT @Lorionafarm Oh, no wonder, you guys have County-Wide Polling Programs (CWPP) No wonder there is no geographic coherence to these ballots in the Bexar County Cast Vote REcord. I honestly thought that Bexar County was using Mail-in Voting because of how random the precincts appear on each ballot in the CVR. Normally, election day is voting is restricted to the precinct (or used to be, and remains that way in many states), so you'd see a continuous run of ballots from the same precinct in the CVR when they uploaded the thumbdrive; or, at the very least, a continuous geographic run of the same precinct group when a thumbdrive of a Voting Center was uploaded. There is no longer any difference between Mail-in and Early Voting and Election Day Voting in Bexar County when it comes to how they mathematically behave. That is the intent of the CWPP: To obsuecate the geographic coherence and trends of the data to hide their fraud.
