@thomasthecat In my RP I use midshipman/midships to refer to enlisted personnel who are training/ apprenticing to become commissioned officers. Depending on the enlisted rank, and the persons desired commissioned rank upon completion of midships training, they spend 1-4 years as midships.

@trekonlinegame In my RP/head canon, the NeoConnie Ent G found itself out of its depth as the Federation flagship (tiny, underpowered, undergunned vs. the F. Plus flagships always get bigger not smaller), so she was reverted back the the Titan, and the EntF retrofitted and put back into service.
