@LoftusSteve "possibly get mugged /sexually harassed / stabbed,"
Whaaat? The evidence is clear, you are overwhelmingly more likely to be hurt in a car crash than any of the above!
English

Yeah people. Why would you want to take a self driving car from door to door in luxury and privacy when you too could walk 10 minutes to a bus stop, wait 20 minutes in the cold, possibly get mugged /sexually harassed / stabbed, then get dropped off a mile from your destination.

@Channel4News Much of what Farage says is correct, but it also applied to Angela Rayner, and Reform want completely different treatment to what they meted out at the time.
English

Nigel Farage responds to fresh claims about Richard Tice’s tax affairs, dismissing the accusations as politically motivated and stressing that any issues would be handled through HM Revenue and Customs.
The Sunday Times reported that Tice, Reform UK's Deputy Leader, failed to pay nearly £100,000 in tax, ultimately benefiting his investment company, which made large donations to Reform UK.
Channel 4 News asked whether, given Tice didn't issue a denial, and given his tax affairs are now reportedly directly linked to the party, Farage would investigate.
English

@Haggis_UK The people out here in the real world, our lives are not affected one iota by Mandelson. But Reform's best friend Donald Trump, apart from being a woman abuser, has put all our bills and cost of living up. But Reform are not interested in the real world.
English

@EBRedding5 @DamianLow3 @sportmarketing1 And almost all of that list are owned by Tory donors. Only the BBC is independent but the Tories put in politically appointed DG and team.

@JulesAP011 @DamianLow3 He is a politician who tells you how they will spend your taxes, while evading those taxes himself. Rank hypocrisy.
English

@DamianLow3 He wasn’t Housing Minister & Deputy PM whilst not paying Stamp Duty he owed, based on a law he’d help draft maybe? 🤔 🤷🏼♀️🙄
I could be wrong. 🤷🏼♀️
English

@steve6690 @DamianLow3 He is deputy leader of a political party (actually a company), a post from which he should now resign or be sacked.
English

@DamianLow3 He's not a minister. Rayner was, and she broke the ministerial code.
English

@lltbr123 @JMcMurdockMP Yes I did read the original post. It's a load of right wing crap from a woman-beater. Why are you taking the slightest bit of notice?
The rest of your post is also a load of right wing fake crap.
Howver, never ever forget it was the right wing who brought these problems to you.
English

Well bully for you. Did you read the original post? When yhou cant take your kids to the park? Not every inch of London is yet a cess pit. Of course people live their lives and get on with it. However take it from a Londoner the City has changed. You are more likely to be checking your surroundings wherever you are. Wasn't always like that. Being a woman after dark is far more dangerous in the centre. Its affecting the night economy. Living in a city is not the same as "visiting".
London is still a great City despite having KHAN as a Mayor. We will fight to keep it. We do not want it to slide into a criminal no go zone.
English

I tried to take my children to a playground in London earlier.
The perimeter was swarming with foreign men smoking weed and drinking.
Pop up tents, a knackered sofa, drugs and alcohol all within feet of society’s most vulnerable.
It’s a disaster waiting to happen.
But nothing is being done.
Right now, Britain seems to be completely rudderless. Tens of millions of ordinary Brits all scratching their heads like what the hell is going on.
The usual leavers and actions that citizens expect, not as a luxury or a nice to have but as an absolute minimum, are absent.
Police - nowhere.
Deportations - nowhere
Border control - nowhere
Sensible immigration polices like we had for 60+ years post world war 2 - nowhere.
Just foreign tramps urinating 15 feet from a kids park while getting high and ogling passers by.
The good news is there is a solution and it is a simple one.
Detain, Deport.

English

@BDAA_Official @JMcMurdockMP /4 claimed asylum. We could previously.
Negotiating serious deals with other nations will take years, and each one at a cost to us. But we haven't got any time, completely none at all.
The migrant crisis is horrendous. Brexit has been an utter, utter disaster. ☹️
English

@BDAA_Official @JMcMurdockMP /3 total disaster imo, delivering the opposite of what was promised. It's still the case that we cannot return the vast majority of migrants to where we need to. There are no deals with other major euro countries other than France. We cannot return to where they first
English

@GlynisSpencer @BDAA_Official @JMcMurdockMP Yes. We are completely unable to return them, and that is specifically down to Brexit.
We were PROMISED that if we left the EU we could control migration. Instead the complete opposite has happened.
English

@MikeWat3232 @BDAA_Official @JMcMurdockMP You're having a laugh. We're paying the French millions to stop the boats. They're negotiating to give them more, as I type, yet the French Navy transports them to the edge of our waters and liases with Border Force so they can transfer them to a Britush vessel.

@SteveGott6 @CamillaTominey @DanNeidle @RobertSyms Absolutely no way, no comparison. Jenrick is one of those who broke Britain, Starmer is on the side of trying to clear up the mess. Immigration figures went through roof under Jenrick. Jenrick help rich tax dodgers. He imposes lock downs then breaks them. And so on.
English

@MikeWat3232 @CamillaTominey @DanNeidle @RobertSyms I see your Robert Jenrick, and raise you Keir Starmer.
English

Truly desperate stuff 🤦♀️
-I was asking you about the PM, not Tice
-Tice tax claims are the subject of legal action
-I asked Jenrick about Tice anyway
-Anyone who has ever seen me interview Tice knows I’m far from a snowflake
-The definition of a snowflake is a serving MP who posts this sort of hatstand and then switches off replies.
Tom Hayes MP@TomHayesBmouth
I enjoyed her cancelling me for bringing up Tice’s tax affairs after answering her questions directly. The best thing was her defence of Tice and insistence that she was a journalist. What a snowflake! ❄️ What a carcrash interviewer, just letting good GB News viewers down 🤯
English

@BDAA_Official @JMcMurdockMP Can you name any of the 20 countries?
I believe migrants are flooding here because we are the only country in Europe who are unable to return anyone anywhere, and they know it.
English

Fair point, and i was concerned about the same issue until i looked a little deeper. We do have a highly achievable solution.
Britain already has the legal framework, the border force, and the returns agreements needed. I believe that as of early 2026, the UK had valid return agreements with around 19, or maybe 20 countries.
What has been missing is consistent political will to apply them at scale.
This isn’t about being unkind, it’s about restoring fairness to the British families, veterans and pensioners who built and fund the system.
Lawful controlled immigration that benefits the country should not be an issue. Uncontrolled entry that burdens it certainly is.
Practical, firm action on borders and returns is entirely deliverable. It simply requires the resolve to do it.
