A good video breaking down some comprehensive polling on Alberta independence. At the part linked below, he speaks of part of why the movement is a bit hung up right now. youtu.be/E9pRGAwJjVk?si…

@ABFreeAlberta It'll only take one lake of fire uproar to derail the works- it's gonna get bumpy, let's not create the bumps.

To reiterate we actually like most of the people behind Centurian & their motives are good but FFS bring in some smart people to help or ask guys like Wilson for advice. The forces against separation are smart, well funded & looking for anything they can use. DO NOT F'UP #ABFree
#ABFree@ABFreeAlberta

4/4 Anyone who's been in a party executive (like us) knows those lists can't be shared or else. If they did it, they f'd up. If they didn't then Centurion leaders got nothing to worry about. The phone book story isn't the issue. But why risk it? It undermines separation.

@ikwilson It's a shame coal got a bad name from the climate zealots, Alberta has a vein of coal so thick you don't even have to conventional mine it, just scape it off the top like soil I hope an independent AB revitalizes this industry - the jobs and royalties... education would be free

@Citizen004 @KristopherWells Your "But a pipeline? That's a symbol of change - a commitment to..." is an old, tired statement. AB independence is indeed a bellwether, for change, although I suspect you'll be surprised at the direction of that change, severely normal Albertans do - you're obviously not one.

"Severely normal Albertans," to use Ralph Klein's term, don't care about equilization or how many senate seats Alberta has so the Liberals can stack them with the likes of @KristopherWells. But a pipeline? That's a symbol of change — a commitment to let Alberta do Alberta and build big beautiful stuff that generates lots of wealth that everyone shares. That is a pocketbook issue that can shake loose a lot of votes — one way or the other. 2/2

"IMO, Carney has to come up with a way to get a pipeline to the Pacific if he’s to persuade a clear majority of Albertans that Canada works for them" Separatists will tell @nspector4, that independence is more than a pipeline — it isn't. For many, that is the bellweather of whether Canada works or not. 1/2

@nspector4 AB independence is more than a pipeline issue - it's more than equalization payments and representation in the HoC. There is a cultural aspect to it that central Canadians don't understand and have no intention of understanding.

@ValoryResources Yes, I've worked on many similar projects - Canadian companies are held to a world standard unmatched, environmental and job site safety - second to none.

Alberta can protect water and support responsible resource development. Steelmaking coal remains essential for building the infrastructure Canadians rely on every day, while modern projects are held to some of the world’s highest environmental standards. cochraneeagle.ca/rocky-view-new…

Calgary's Chamber of Commerce is applauding Carney's sovereign debt fund. They are just a pit of woke Liberals and have been for a long time. No Calgary business should be a member of that group.

Working a camp job in NE BC 14 years ago. Paid the medic to give me a haircut. Had so much more hair then. And it was so much darker. Damn passage of time.

@mooodoc Love to... have to admit I'm not big on sea food - we're 750 miles from the pacific coast so anything advertised as "fresh" is a joke... beef is king - like Texas north

Let me know and I'll talk you through it; it'd be cool to see a picture of a traditional coastal Carolina meal being prepared in Alberta 😅 They have better setups, mine's basic 14-in Single Jet Cooker | Outdoor Cookers | Bayou Classic® – bayouclassic.com share.google/1PlieyPlaYWRWW… Aluminum Stockpot w/ Basket | Stockpots | Bayou Classic® – bayouclassic.com share.google/C6FvmyMNVDOPDM… Basic seasoning to start with. Other secret proprietary seasonings also😏

Ok, I'm gonna go ahead and get in front of this, before I get attacked by the purists and those with other regional or cultural preferences. Unless you're doing a PBS documentary on coastal Carolina culinary staples; the correct way to prepare a low country boil is whatever way you choose to make it! I mix it up about everytime I do it. My family and peeps know generally what they're getting but it's rarely the same

@david_parker If we don’t get a yes, we will try again. The timeline here is short, and many are slow to wake up. Quebec 1980: 40.44% yes Quebec 1995: 49.42% yes

A lot of people tell me that if we don't win this Referendum they will leave. Imagine if the Founding Fathers of America had been so weak. If you truly love Alberta, you will not stop working until it becomes a nation, no matter what the cost.

I love those inter service rivalries. Might be inter service, a difference in a chose trade, or even from one Bn to another. The banter is always fun. End of the day though those are brothers and sisters. Same mission, just a different way of arriving.

@nspector4 Canada is cooked in these trade talks - 3 nation negotiations and two have all but settled - crumbs are left over - maybe Luxenberg has a better offer, FFS.
