This is why the left - while purporting to decry corporatism - actually embraces it. For all practical purposes, publicly traded corporations and all businesses who are contracted or subcontracted to government contracts (which directly or indirectly is most businesses) have be de facto extensions of the government and are in fact at the vanguard of the sociopolitical change the left is engineering. It’s corporatist fascism — from the left.

New York school district to become one of the first in the United States to introduce a humanoid robot in the classroom. 'Sally' will have a Western New York accent and will teach 11th and 12th-grade students at Salamanca High School. Sally costs less than the average teacher's salary in New York, with a price tag of $57,000. The robot has brown hair, and can move its arms and legs, but will not be able to walk around the classroom. Students will be able to log in so the humanoid can recognize students and their previous interactions. The humanoid will be helping teach coding, robotics, and AI classes. The school district promises that robots will "never" replace human teachers. ‘Sally’ is made by Realbotix, which also produces "companion" robots. What are we doing here?

The State of my Jeep. Upgraded the sorry-ass stock halogen headlights to Oracle LEDs. Hotheads heat reflective headliner. Tinted the windows and - with a clear IR-reflective film - the windshield. Top of the line Llumar Stratos Formula One film. Now adding comms. Overhead mounted dual band 50 watt BTECH ham/MURS/GMRS radio and, just for kicks, and for reliving Smokey and the Bandit, a 4 watt Cobra mini-CB. JCR underseat storage locker also in progress. For … stuff.

We need to watch Tropical Depression Two VERY closely over the next couple of days... If this tropical system stays more south and west than forecasted, a hurricane risk would be much higher, which would impact Texas and Louisiana more. If the tropical system crashes into the Gulf Coast between Eastern Louisiana and Florida (which is the more likely scenario at this time), a tropical storm landfall would be more likely. The next 24-48 hours will be crucial. Stay tuned!
