Her family alleges abduction, forced marriage, and coercion surrounding her reported conversion. The situation remains legally contested and under growing human rights scrutiny. Silvana Atef, 17-year-old autistic Coptic girl from Egypt, was reportedly abducted, by Saher Mohamed Ragab (son of a police officer), forcibly converted to Islam, and sexually assaulted amid coercion, exploitation, trafficking, and state bias withholding her location with family sent away from care institution who claimed they don’t accept or deal with Christians.
