It took us two years to grow from $10 mm to $100 mm in Annual Recurring Revenue and 15 months to reach $200 mm. Nine months later, we crossed $300 mm. Vanta’s growth rate increased each of the past four quarters – compounding really is the eighth wonder of the world! “But wait,” you might be thinking. “How does a software company founded before 2022 *increase* its growth rate?” Narrative violation!

I would be so so so curious to meet the guy willing to put his career on the line by ripping out SAP to replace it with Claude I would also like to know if this is a public company so I can short it

Cleveland research report....Anthropic is emerging as a competitive threat for SAP and enterprise apps more broadly. See potential for our signings growth to flatten out as a result. Our clients are closely evaluating Anthropic as we speak and reconsidering their 9-figure SAP investment.

A non technical friend is looking to learn how to use Gen AI and build agents. He sent me a brochure from a University offering a course but it looks abysmal. Tools are already out of date, professors have barely any real company experience. What alternatives can I send him?

I see a near future where ad supported models in AI will be the norm to allow access to LLMs for everyone. Don't want ads? Simply pay the subscription fee. Ads don't have to be annoying. They can be helpful and keep amazing things freely available. There are countless examples.
AdZen.ai@adzen_ai

The debate around ads in AI isn't just heating up, it's boiling over. @OpenAI 's move to introduce advertising into ChatGPT was met with a swift industry backlash, humorously highlighted by @AnthropicAI 's upcoming Super Bowl ads that openly ridicule the concept. Our CEO, Spencer Bardsley, asks the question, ”Is the backlash warranted? The most used platforms today are ad supported. TV, social, video, search, mobile. The industry offers paid, ad-free options, but most consumers choose ad-supported models.” Our view at AdZen is that AI is no different. Ad-supported means greater accessibility and often more choices. But let's pause the noise and face a critical historical truth. Every paradigm-shifting technology, every mass-scale platform that has defined the modern digital era, has been powered by one engine: Advertising. Read more here: adzen.ai/blog/the-ai-ad…

@umang Interesting I’ve had the opposite experience. Switched to Gemini and it’s been a lot better. I appreciate the tone a lot more (feels more matter of fact and less like it’s trying to blow smoke) and I trust the output more. And the new Gmail integration has been really 🔥

cancelled my chatgpt sub 3 weeks ago, as an experiment to try claude and gemini as a daily driver (was already using claude code as my coding primary, but not for other queries) and it’s been PAINFUL! between history / personalization, the model personality (more like o3 than 4o), amazing search, less hallucination — chatgpt is so good. it just _gets_ me. not to mention atlas on desktop where i have many chats in parallel and many more chats just open in tabs (don’t use it as a browser but it’s nice to have a dedicated app that’s good - the chatgpt app itself is terrible) ending the experiment today

I think one of the biggest challenges and opportunities at the same time for enterprise SW startups at the moment is that VCs want to fund startups growing from $1-->$8M or from $8-->$40M. For the most part, those tend to be PLG or infra startups with 0% or negative GM, which is partially why they are growing so fast. But, AI-native enterprise SW startups will not grow that way. AI or not, you are not going to change how enterprises buy SW. You still need to do the same work (or more) - find the ICP, connect with the buyer, make sure they have budget, articulate value prop and ROI, go through POC, security checks, and procurement process. That is not changing and still requires a lot of work. Which leads me to believe that growth rates for AI-native enterprise startups will gravitate towards what we considered great historically. A startup growing $1-->$5M signing high margin enterprise deals is awesome. So, the reason I think this is an opportunity is because I think a lot of awesome startups will be overlooked and massive companies will be built that are growing at similar rates as the startups we considered great during the SaaS era.
