As I was reminded, Daboll puts the MOST value in private workouts (I would hope he means AFTER the film of actual games)
The Giants have spent (reportedly) the most time on Sanders, Shough and Dart.

Sources to @NFLonCBS: The Giants have planned a private workout with Louisville QB Tyler Shough later in the week. In addition to Thursday's workout with Shedeur Sanders, the Giants will get one last look at Shough as their thorough draft process enters its final week.

@CarlBanksGIII Genuinely I just don’t get it. I’m not even trying to be rude or anything What has Jones done for this team? You played during some of the all time great giants years and contributed so much. Being alright with this bottom qb play is so confusing to me

@MikeyBoy40 @Mooberrypie2637 That would go on top of the dead cap already on the books. So if he passes the physical in March 2025 and the Giants cut him, they would have $22M dead cap hit for 2025. If he gets injured 2024, can’t pass physical, then they add on another $25M dead cap to get up to $47M.

2. Either the #Giants are NOT confident Daniel Jones will be ready for Weeks 1-4 (PUP list candidate?) or
3. Schoen doesn’t want to risk his 2025 injury guarantee crushing their cap.

Seahawks GM John Schneider said on Seattle radio show @WymanAndBob that he wanted to keep Drew Lock, but the Giants “basically sold him on the opportunity to compete to be the starter.” Schneider said that Lock views this situation with the Giants as possibly being similar to Baker Mayfield in Tampa last year. Oh.

@Mooberrypie2637 No one would ever trade for his contract — almost regardless due to his injuries and the injury guarantee — but especially if they’re losing. He’ll just be benched like Russ was last year and Carr two years ago.
