We’ve always supported artists working in the theatre, but where are the actors in the building on a daily basis? The 1000s who attended classes? The reason for & heart of the building has been erased. Why ask us to save 1aTower St & then abandon us? It’s morally indefensible.

The UK riots have exposed a serious flaw in how British media execs think about diversity and onscreen representation. A flaw I have been writing about since at least 2012:

If you have @borrowbox there’s an ace audiobook called The Go Between by Osman Yousefzada . Think I got more out of this book by listening than would have done by reading as it’s so beautifully narrated by @MikhailSen . Well recommended.
