@NRL_Dragons Fuck my team fuck the “interim” coach and fuck those shit cunts who would not survive reserve grade. Thanks Dean… Shane is watching having a beer and laughing!!!
@NRL_Dragons Thank god you FUCKING IDIOTS sacked Shane Flanagan because we didn’t want a team putting 60 points on us. I will no longer be a dragons supporter and Dean Young can go and bend over to go to brown town. He was useless as a hooker he’s shit as an assistant coach and WORSE asa/.
@JoelFletchSEN I remember when I was a year 7 child at Warilla High School and Matt Cooper would punch me in the face stomach because I was bigger and he would say I was his punching bag
“When I retired I was promised things by the CEO; those things didn’t come through and I had a falling out.
I was quite bitter at the club. With the new CEO coming in he wanted me back in to build the culture up”
Dragons legend Matt Cooper on his relationship with the Red V
@SeaEagles@LeagueScenePod Pathetic. Look at your players. Look at the blokes running on the field that throw shoulders at mid range. The blokes running who don’t perform at previous clubs and come to yours and do less, the guys who are lining up to leave. You’re taking his life.
@VoteLewko Best radio broadcast in years. No “presenters” using the word like as a comma and using annoying segments to be relevant. More strikes I say!
Unionised staff at the ABC demanding a pay rise will be going on strike at 11am. Many people will be tuning in to ABC television and radio out of curiosity. ABC could potentially get their highest ratings figures in years!
In 1989 staff at Triple-J were disciplined for playing NWA's “Fuck tha Police” - the only radio station in the world doing so at the time. ABC management had banned the song and in protest, Triple-J staff walked out and played NWA's "Express Yourself" continuously (around 82 times) preceded by a recording explaining that due to the industrial action, regular transmission had been interrupted.
Fun Fact: The scratching in the Triple-J News theme (a variation on the classic ABC news theme) is sampled from Fuck tha Police so the ABC play a bit of the once banned song thousands of times a year.
@oshergunsberg@TheBachelorAU All good Osher.
Whatever the perception and the pay packet says right? Wonder if the cans at all the grand finals at footy games were just sparkling water or just water in them..but no one checks right?
@MikiCee83@TheBachelorAU I don't know who I argued with about drinking with on tv, but each to their own sir. It might also surprise you to know that my glass doesn't have any booze in it. Usually sparkling water or just water.
@oshergunsberg Fair call Osher, but does it mean your kids will be addicted to KFC also? Fast food ads are actually prevalent during “prime time” rather than alcohol and as studies show, diabetes, heart disease and obesity have a massive impact of children 1-7years.
@MikiCee83 Mate we are talking about booze ads on TV in the middle of the day on a weekend during shows that kids watch, and the facts about early exposure to messaging. Feelings aren’t facts.
Watching #AFLGF with a 3yo and when the booze ads come on - Never have I been more acutely aware of what those fizzy drinks all the people who seem to be having a lovely time are enjoying. The false idea that booze makes those moments reality is indoctrinated early here…
@oshergunsberg Don’t all the people on the Bach-etc shows get flourished with alcohol to increase their presence and connection to the circumstances? I respectfully understand where you are coming from but as a fellow parent, it should be my child who makes the choice not 7
@MikiCee83 Mate - I’m not offended. However the way early childhood development works, and the overwhelming evidence of how early use of alcohol increases risk of addiction and poor life outcomes makes me feel that I wasn’t being hyperbolic.
