Missiles & drones struck Kyiv through the night, hitting people in their homes. Russia continues to wage war not only against Ukraine, but against the principles of humanity & international law. Europe stands united against this agression. Need to strengthen our support for UA.

Estonia condemns Russia’s latest massive attack on Kyiv, targeting civilians in their homes and striking critical infrastructure. We stand with Ukraine and its courageous people. Russia will be held accountable for its war crimes.

Moscow’s desperate overnight attempt to break Ukraine’s will changes nothing: Russia is losing this war. By once again deliberately targeting civilians, it merely added further war crimes to the list for which it will, sooner or later, be held accountable. We will work to ensure that every commander involved in these crimes — from those giving the orders to those pressing the buttons — will one day have a file waiting for them in The Hague.

Albania strongly condemns yet another brutal and indiscriminate large-scale ballistic missile and drone #attack launched last night by Russia against civilian targets in Ukraine, in total disregard for human life and basic human decency. This time, the residential complex where the #Ambassador of Albania to #Ukraine resides was struck, putting his life at serious risk. This is unacceptable! Targeting or endangering civilian areas and #diplomatic personnel represents a grave escalation and another stark reminder of the human cost of Russia’s continued aggression. This war of choice has lasted for far too long. For more than four years since its illegal full-scale invasion, Russia has relentlessly targeted energy infrastructure, schools, hospitals, and homes across Ukraine. Yet it has failed to break the #courage, determination, resilience, and strength of the Ukrainian people. Russia is not winning; it is only killing, destroying, and inflicting widespread devastation and suffering. We reiterate our call on #Russia to immediately cease these attacks, put an end to the war against Ukraine, fully abide by international law, and return to negotiations. #Albania will continue to stand firmly with #Ukraine and reiterates its unwavering support for Ukraine’s #sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity. Those responsible for these attacks must be held accountable. The Ambassador of the Russian #Federation to Albania has been summoned for explanations.

I am on my way to my first official visit to Poland as Prime Minister. We are arriving in the beautiful city of Kraków on a commercial flight via Vienna, from where we will continue by train to Warsaw later this evening. We will hold official talks with the Prime Minister of Poland. I will also meet the President of Poland, as well as the Marshal of the Sejm and the President of the Senate. As of today, in the event that both Deputy Prime Minister Anita Orbán and I are simultaneously unable to perform our duties, I am appointing Minister Dr Bálint György Ruff as Deputy Prime Minister. On Thursday morning, I will travel from Warsaw to Vienna, where I will also hold official talks with the Austrian Chancellor and President. On Thursday evening, I will return to Budapest by train. A strong demonstration of Allied defence capability and readiness to act today. A drone entering Estonian airspace was detected quickly and shot down over Southern Estonia by a NATO Air Policing fighter jet. My sincere thanks to our NATO allies, the Romanian Air Force and the fighter pilots who carried out this mission with professionalism and precision. Estonia’s airspace is protected. NATO is vigilant, prepared and capable of acting rapidly when needed.
