@LNER The announcement from the conductor on the 16.33 suggests tickets from the 17.48 won't be valid, despite what was previously said in your reply (also confirmed by station staff). Is there a way of you confirming the validity of my ticket with the train staff?

@LNER Afternoon, I was due to travel on the 17:48 Kings Cross to Leeds on an advanced single - with it now being cancelled, am I able to travel earlier than the initial train, or do I have to wait until after?

@LNER Is that just direct trains like my booked one, or any journey that shows up when I search on a planner? Is the first train 8 can get the 16.33, or the 17.00 (assuming the 17.03 doesn't count as it's also cancelled)

@GC_Rail Thanks for confirming - although I find the fact you don't arrange ticket acceptance during commuting times shockingly poor customer service. Most people won't have the luxury of waiting 2 hours for their journeys on a cold platform!

@MilesAClement Yes - we have had to terminate the service at Hartlepool unfortunately. Apologies once more. Passengers can board the next or any other Grand Central service only ^CW

@MilesAClement Yes - if you elect to abandon your journey following disruption, you can apply for a refund through web support (if purchasing ticket through GC); 0345 603 4852 (08:00-22:00 Mon-Sun). If you continue your journey and are heavily delayed, you can claim delay repay compensation ^CW

@MilesAClement If the service cannot go forward, the only other service we can confirm you can use (for now), would be other GC services ^CW
