Murray: Is it true that people making under $184,000 pay a 12.4% Social Security tax rate? Dahl: Yes Murray: And the rate for someone making $1,000,000? Dahl: 2.2% Murray: So, a 12.4% tax for people making less than $184,000, but 2.2% for a millionaire or .0002% for billionaires.

Thomas Massie: “The Epstein class is above party.” “They don’t associate as Republicans or Democrats.” “They’re above judges.” “They’ve got visa waivers.” “They fly private planes.” “They don’t mingle with the public.” “John Paulson, one of the three billionaires who’ve [funded my opponent], was in Epstein’s phone book.” “He also was implicated in these files as … reaching out to Jeffrey Epstein to get money from him to honor Howard Lutnick.” “It’s a really small world when you get into the billionaires.” “And they’re not partisans.” “My hat’s off to Marjorie Taylor Greene for taking on those threats.” “Lauren Boebert … they took her into the situation room and tried to whip her into taking her name off of the discharge petition.” “And then the President vetoed a bill that would’ve brought water to a large portion of Colorado over Epstein.” “It’s not just about Lauren Boebert.” “Why are people in Colorado deprived of water because their representative wants to expose a sex trafficking ring?” Tucker Carlson: “Why do you think Epstein, of all issues, is the one that Donald Trump was willing to destroy his presidency over?” Massie: “The people who are funding the ballroom, the people who are funding the arch, the people who are funding the rebranding of the Kennedy Center, these are the people who are also funding my opponent.” “These are the people who have the ear of the President.” “These are the people who are dominating our foreign policy decisions.” “And these are also the same people who are in the Epstein files, by large part, or their friends are.” This is the issue that pushed Trump and the Epstein class to spend $10 million desperately trying to defeat Massie. And the race is closer than you think. His campaign needs all of our help right now to survive. @RepThomasMassie @MassieforKY @TuckerCarlson

This has been the most frustrating year of my service in Congress, and it isn’t close. Mike Johnson is the weakest Speaker in the history of the House. He has turned the people’s branch into a rubber stamp. In 2025, only 38 bills were signed into law, the lowest first-year total in decades. The House set a record this century for fewest votes cast in the first session of a Congress.  Johnson killed votes on tariffs crushing working families. He blocked a vote on releasing the Epstein files. He buried bipartisan bills under procedural tricks until his own members had to force votes through discharge petitions, setting another record. Meanwhile Trump bombed Iran without a vote, dismantled the Department of Education without a vote, and imposed sweeping tariffs without a vote.  Johnson did nothing, more concerned with political survival than anything else. The Founders fought a revolution so we wouldn’t be ruled by one man. Mike Johnson is surrendering that fight each day. thehill.com/opinion/congre…

trump gets a $400 million ballroom, a $400 million jet, he's suing the IRS for $10 billion and he's golfing every weekend. You get unaffordable groceries, high gas prices, high electricity bills and one piece of chicken.

BREAKING: A Syrian billionaire needed U.S. sanctions lifted so he could cash in on $12 billion in reconstruction contracts, per NYT. In an attempt to influence American foreign policy, he proposed a Trump-branded golf course, cut Jared Kushner & Ivanka Trump into a multibillion-dollar real estate deal for a resort in Albania, and had someone physically deliver a stone engraved with the Trump family crest to a Republican Member of Congress with instructions to take it to the White House to get the President's attention. Trump threw his weight behind repealing the sanctions. They were lifted. The contracts are moving, and the Trump family’s deals are expanding.

This should be on the front page of every newspaper in America. A Syrian billionaire needed U.S. sanctions lifted so he could cash in on $12 billion in reconstruction contracts. The contracts are moving, the Trump family’s deals are expanding, and not a single Washington Republican is willing to say a word about any of it. This is a corruption of everything the office of the presidency is supposed to stand for, and the American people deserve to know about it. nytimes.com/2026/04/19/us/…

Seth Meyers reminds us how batshit crazy the last 3 weeks have been: Trump fired AG Pam Bondi. He posted a meme of himself as Jesus then said he thought it was a meme of himself as a doctor. He said the Pope is weak on crime. A MAGA podcaster said Trump is under demonic influence. Pete Hegseth read a fake bible verse from Pulp Fiction. Kash Patel thought he was fired because he got locked out of his computer. A FEMA official claims he once teleported to a Waffle House. Lindsey Graham was seen at Disney World by himself. RFK Jr. cut off a dead raccoon’s penis on the side of the road. Kristi Noem’s husband has giant fake balloon boobs.

Insider trading accusations at the White House. Frequent violations of the emoluments clause of the Constitution. Sweetheart deals for his sons. And then there is Jared, the walking conflict of interest. Is this what happens when you elect a president who is a convicted criminal?

Raskin: So when Jared Kushner goes over there with the American team, is he representing his own business interests 100 percent? Or is he representing the U.S. government’s interests 100 percent? Or is it 50-50? He’s got one foot in his business interests and one foot with the government’s interests. Nobody has defined it, and we’ve never seen anything like this in American history before. My question was just: Who’s he working for

Tucked into Trump's absurd $1.5 trillion Pentagon request is $54.6 billion drone budget. A 24,000% increase over last year. Who has just happened to have gotten into the drone business recently? Don, Jr. and Eric Trump. I'm sure that's just a coincidence. thehill.com/opinion/nation…
