The best thing that happened to Enugu state since 2023 was electing governor Peter mbah. His step towards bringing the attention of the federal Government to Enugu ans connecting us to center by joining APC is the best decision for the interest of enugu people.

Again #ESN was created out of necessity. As long as Buhari’s regime continues to kill and abduct #Biafrans across the (SE)! #ESN will continue to protect Igbo people from the brutal attacks of terrorists, bandits and herdsmen.

-APC total price for presidential form N100m -ADC is N100m. -NDC is N60m. -PDP N51m. These are the four major political parties at the moment; All surpassing over fifty million. So what hope has the common man have to contest based on competence? Because we all know Nigerians vote for hyped up parties. And they say politics is inclusive?

2027: Why NDC, other Opposition Parties must Rethink Zoning Presidency To South – Atiku warns Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has warned opposition parties against zoning their 2027 presidential ticket to the South, saying such a move could weaken chances of defeating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In a statement by his spokesperson, Olusola Sanni, Atiku described the push as “self-defeating and intellectually dishonest,” insisting politics should be based on strategy and “hard electoral arithmetic,” not “emotional talking points.” “The first and most obvious question is this: how does a Southern opposition candidate realistically unseat a sitting Southern president?” the statement asked, adding that no incumbent president has been defeated by an opposition candidate from the same region. The camp also argued that by 2027, the South would have spent about 18 years in power in the Fourth Republic, compared to about 10 years for the North, making the zoning argument difficult to justify “under the guise of equity.” Atiku further accused some politicians of hypocrisy for supporting Goodluck Jonathan’s presidency in 2011 after the d+ath of Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, but now defending zoning as a sacred principle. He, however, said the Southeast deserves “a sustainable and credible pathway to national leadership,” not “symbolic tokenism.”

I do hope that when the campaigns officially begin, the Obidients and their new friends in the Kwankwasiyya camp will allow us to peacefully campaign for our chosen candidates and political party, without them resorting to their usual, constant attacks and hostility, which have sadly become their obvious failed strategy.

Abdulsamad Rabiu has become Africa's second-richest person with a net worth of $19.0 billion after an impressive year-to-date increase of $8.88 billion. Rabiu now trails only Aliko Dangote, surpassing South Africa's Johann Rupert, whose net worth dropped to $17.7 billion. Rabiu's global ranking climbed to 138th as his wealth surged significantly this year. The strong financial performance of BUA Foods, including a 14% rise in Q1 2026 earnings after tax, is a key driver behind Rabiu's wealth growth.

The 6.6 km Gariki – Akwuke Road was for long one of the most impassable roads in Enugu. Driving through it was a nightmare. Today, Governor Mbah is not only reconstructing the road but also widening and dualising it, unlocking the suburb for housing and economic growth, while improving access to Akwuke Beach, a natural tourist attraction earmarked for development. Tomorrow is here

One striking trait of Hausa people is our strong attachment to our language. The reason you will see even when two Hausa English professors meet, they naturally speak Hausa. This pride in using our language, wherever we find ourselves, is a key reason Hausa remains so dominant and widely spoken. Hausawa don’t shy away from using our language.

@Brainard76801 @DanNwomeh I am an economist not a politician . I have zero political interest. But let me tell you if PO or Atiku were the president the price of dollar to naira could have been below #1000 and princes of fuel and other commodities could be less .

@MillerCris6 @DanNwomeh One thing is certain. If PO is the president we will still buy fuel at the price as we are right now. The same goes to Atiku. Didn’t they all said they will remove subsidy? The only question is how they will spend the money make from subsidy removal.

NEW: More gains of strategic connection to the centre, as President Tinubu directs the installation of solar-powered street lights from Enugu all the way to Onitsha. Truth be told, Tinubu has done a lot for Enugu under the visionary leadership of Governor Peter Mbah. And Engr Dave Umahi is unarguably the best ever performing Minister of Works. Ndi Enugu are increasingly seeing the clear benefits of aligning with the party at the centre of national power and politics. • Under President Tinubu's administration, the South East Development Commission was established, with headquarters in Enugu. • President approved the concession of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, including the completion of the abandoned international terminal and the construction of a new cargo terminal, finally making the airport truly international and not merely in name. The first Nigerian airport to be successfully concessioned. • President Tinubu, chairing the Federal Executive Council, approved ₦24 billion for the construction of the 82 Division/Abakpa Junction Flyover in Enugu. • The President also approved the immediate and expedited reconstruction of the collapsed twin New Artisan Bridge. • President Tinubu gave approval for the speedy construction of Eke Obinagu Flyover, Emene, arguably the longest in the South East, in support of the dualisation of the 21.7km Abakaliki Road from the Airport Flyover to the Ebonyi State border by the Peter Mbah administration. • The President approved the continued funding of the reconstruction of Enugu - Onitsha Expressway. See the transformation of the stretch from Abakpa Junction to Trans Ekulu flyover towards 9th Mile and beyond. • President Tinubu approved the ongoing dualization of the 9th Mile – Opi Nsukka - Obollo Afor – Oturkpo highway after decades of neglect and abandonment. • The President approved the release of funds for the continuation of the reconstruction of the Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway. • President Tibunu appointed an Enugu son, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla as the Chief of the Naval Staff, and subsequently another Enugu son, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, as the Chief of the Air Staff. * Coming Soon: Presidential approval secured for key infrastructure projects in Enugu and the South East * Revitalisation of the Eastern Rail Line from Port Harcourt through Aba, Enugu, Ubahu, Eha Amufu, Oturkpo, Kafanchan, Kaduna, to Maiduguri. * Extension of gas pipeline to Enugu to power industrialisation across the state. • Let me stop for now. Doubters should please fact-check me. Dan Nwomeh in Enugu
