As a pro-life OB practicing in a pro-life state, let me be clear: refusing to intervene when a woman experiences an inevitable miscarriage, as described in this article, is medical malpractice.
ProPublica wants you to believe these tragedies prove pro-life laws harm women. The reality is doctors and the hospital failed to act when the law allowed them to.

People keep acting like rising property taxes are automatically justified because “schools and services need funding,” but a lot of people look around and do not feel like the government is managing the money it already gets very well.
Meanwhile an older couple can stay in the exact same house for 30 years, change nothing about their lifestyle, and still get hit with a higher tax bill because the area around them got expensive.
That is not the same thing as being able to afford more.

Seniors should not be priced out of a house they already paid for because the area around them got more expensive. They didn’t suddenly get richer because Zillow says the house is worth more. Most of them are living on fixed income, paying higher insurance, higher utilities, higher groceries, and then the tax bill shows up like they somehow got a raise. People can argue all day about how to fund schools and services, and that part does matter. But making older homeowners keep rebuying the same house every year through property taxes is exactly why so many people feel like ownership is never really ownership.

A large majority of the "Asylum" claims filed in the Biden years were false. These were economic migrants but there was an industrial effort by that Admin & the Left to abuse the process.
They taught the deluge of illegals how to say the right things to trigger refugee status. Then once they were here simply cut them loose with court dates up to 7 years in the future. They got cash, phones, free transport and a free ride to start acting like citizens wherever they ended up.
That cost these cities resources they should have been able to spend on the lawful members of their own communities. Not to mention the crime, drugs, violence, human trafficking etc. that came right along.
It is long past time to deal with this by remigrating those who have no legitimate asylum claims and punishing those who helped build this affront to our ability to control who comes into this country.

Gaza was the staging ground for a military force that invaded Israel and killed more than 1200 Israeli civilians.
That made it a legitimate battleground. Israel was entitled to law to eliminate that threat in the future.
Cities all over the world have suffered similar fates for centuries as a result of armed aggression from within their borders.
