y’all I hate to break it to you but 99% of the time record stores are owned by men who are probably NOT taylor swift fans OR at least NOT in the know like we are. they probably don’t know we already know that there’s 4 variants with “handwritten lyrics” and bonus tracks so some of the stores saying there’s “surprises” or “notes from taylor” are most likely talking about the variants with bonus tracks that include the “handwritten” lyrics LOL 😭

My fav local record shop is woman owned and goes above and beyond for Swifties. Listening parties, photo ops, balloons, instagram posts about Swifties. It’s the most welcoming shop for Swifties I’ve visited and I’ve been in a lot of them the past few years.
