All contentious elements of the bill, inc legal but harmful had been debated in committee and passed. Only 3 hours of non contentious debate left and Labour killed the bill stone dead on the last leg of its journey through Parliament rather than be seen to support.

If it hadn’t been for Labour calling a vote of no confidence in @BorisJohnson the day after he resigned, the #OnlineSafetyBill would have been in the Lords for past 4 months. They played politics with children/vulnerable adults lives rather than support important legislation.
