With a governing body who do very little in terms of “fit and proper” checks when prospective new owners appear on the scene you have to be very careful who you sell your club to - in my experience

Today’s development with Salford may be the first step in the right direction for the club, in terms of rebuilding and reformation. Still a lot of pain to come though. Spoke to one former Salford player who is owed £15,000. He’s unlikely to get it. Paul King is set lose his house. Other staff unlikely to be paid. Nightmarish situation.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Dave Driver. A lifelong fan and a regular face at our Foundation's Community Projects, Dave recently visited training and met our entire First Team squad. As a club we would like to pass on our sincere thoughts and prayers to Dave's family and friends during this incredibly tough time!

Wakefield Trinity are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Graham Teal. As a club we want to pass on our thoughts and prayers to his wife Denise, and all his family and friends during this incredibly tough time. Graham was a vital member of the volunteer staff here at the club and brought a smile to everyone who he came in contact with and will be sadly missed!
