Alabama definitively has a “bad loss.” To Florida State. But they have “four wins over currently ranked teams.” But we treat two of those teams, No.20 Tennessee and No.22 Missouri, like they are so much better than SMU and Louisville because they are “ranked by the committee”, despite not having any wins over teams with winning records. Perception matters.

Don’t let ND dweebs gaslight you about the game. Miami owned that matchup: two long TD drives (75 yards each), nearly 34 minutes of possession, Love held to 33 yards, and ND’s only real spark was a blown assignment. That’s why they pretend head-to-head “doesn’t count.”
