@11Marcc @idoxvi It's just silly and most of them don't realize its not good that Jude has to constantly pick up the ball deep and dribble past a ton of markers cause the team was dreadful in buildup and settled possession. They'd rather attack their great players than the game they were put in

Ridiculous the way people having been going at Kane over this lose. Neither him or Bellingham got a single touch in the opponents box and he's not the reason the team found themselves defending so deep, he was all by himself up there by the end of the match.

@rickyleegriffi he played poorly but my main point is Argentina was the much better side by the end of the night. If it was still the even match it was in that first half & he's missing chances and misplacing simple passes I'd understand it but his influence on the game was limited by TT & Arg

Jude isn’t a holding midfielder, the ins and outs of that position like when to get inbetween your CBs, when to jump out, when to take up space etc aren’t his strengths and if you decide to defend fully don’t hamper yourself with decisions like that even if Rice had to come off.

I’d like to push back on those who argue that Tuchel’s decisions are being criticized simply because they lost. Whether defending the lead was the right or wrong choice it was massively hampered after Rice came off and Jude had to play as a #6.
