The initiative that I introduced to His Excellency on behalf of the Tooro Kingdom is truly a game changer for our people, heralding a new era of opportunity and empowerment. As a cultural institution, our fundamental role is to advocate for essential services, and I am increasingly confident that our voices are being heard. We must harness this momentum to ensure that our people receive the support they need to thrive. It is incumbent upon us as leaders to bring vital services closer to our communities, with the ultimate goal of reducing poverty and improving the quality of life for all Batooro. The statistics speak for themselves: approximately 40% of our population lives below the poverty line, highlighting the urgent need for effective interventions. I have consistently posed the question: What is the Tooro you desire? This question is not just rhetorical; it is a call to action for all of us, the Batooro. We must unite to articulate a shared vision for our kingdom. It is essential that we collectively make the decisions and drive the agenda that will steer Tooro toward a prosperous and equitable future.
