Baalke wasn’t a bad drafter, by and large. His issues where no one wanted to work with him. Bad free agent signings. Not admitting a mistake and moving on. Gladstone is different. Are his draft classes superior? We literally just finished his second draft a week ago, so we don’t know. Can we move along, this is repetitive and exhausting. Frankly, I think it’s all for engagement anyway. 🥱

The thing I don't get about Jags fans defending their process is that it's literally what Trent Baalke did and we're just over a year removed from every Jags account on this app having the clown face on it.
This process, over time, consistency leads to bad drafts.

One big talking point from this Draft is the teams that took their guys and trusted "their" boards vs "consensus".
Bears, Rams, Jags, and most notably -- 49ers -- had the largest Deltas between their picks and where the Consensus Big Boards listed.
All playoff teams in '25. 🤷🏼♂️
