Hard pass. Full-time small slot competing with Luke McCaffrey, who is a bigger power slot. Not sure why there is so much appeal with Williame outside of there not being anybody else to click at the 1/2 turn.
Jax Falcone (scott)@DynoGameTheory

Antonio Williams consistently sneaky into the 1/2 turn conversation in my rookie drafts. He’s usually gone by the 2.04 ish. Interesting click at that value. I’m basically gonna pass unless I’m absolutely forced to make a pick. But Williams > Germie Bernard if forced to choose.

@kingkongistvan @angelo_fantasy @amzzznation I struggle to understand this take. Purdy just put up more FPPG than Herbert has since 2021. Purdy was a literal league winner 4 months ago by putting up multiple 30 burgers in the fantasy playoffs. Purdy is attached to arguably the best playcaller/offensive mind in football.

@angelo_fantasy @amzzznation Again, I think those are valid criticism as to his play in real life. In fantasy he has a ceiling that Purdy just doesn't have and we play for ceilings.

@eliknowsall @Ihartitz but we'd expect that to flow to Jones who is back, and the pass backs they have in Scott or now Claiborne given Mason's pass catching limitations

Ideal fantasy football handcuff: -Clear No. 2 RB -Good offense -Can handle three-down workload -Standalone value Top candidates: -Blake Corum -Kyle Monangai -TreVeyon Henderson (but priced as team's RB1) -Rico Dowdle (offense more meh than good) -Isiah Pacheco (doubtful standalone) -Jordan Mason (questionable three-down ability)

@Ihartitz He was great on SF when he scored TDs but his prop line was .5 catches for a reason. 3 down I view it includes pass work which he's basically a zero for and new team is even more in on a split there. He's fine to get touches but he's an efficient grinder. This gen Gus Bus

have been sitting on a hot take about zac taylor: i know that public opinion on him is low. but him maintaining an ultra high pass rate so that joe burrow can sling it to ja’marr chase and tee higgins is worth a couple win percentage points per game over a neutral pass rate for sure. it’s probably worth some of his shortcomings just for that and you can’t say any coach would let burrow have a high pass rate because so many of the top quarterbacks in the league are in offenses with a neutral to negative PROE

I’m gonna sound like an old head. But I really think we saw the peak of college sports 2000-2020. It’s been all downhill since, and it ain’t coming back. NIL Portal Realignment Playoff expansion. 8th year players None of which has improved the game or fan experience
Matt Norlander@MattNorlander

The men's + women's NCAA Tournaments are expected to formally pass approval for expansion to 76 teams in May, sources told CBS Sports. The move to 76 would mean 52 teams would auto-slot into the main bracket and 12 games for 24 teams Tues/Wed for a rebuilt opening round. Story TK

@zach_barnett Arch is a good player and a very good NFL prospect, but calling him generational when he’s not even dominating college is ridiculous.

Arch is the literal definition of generational. There are no guarantees, but his blood lines are the closest thing you’ll ever get to a sure thing. Also, he’s athletic, built like a tank, and put out lots of NFL tape playing behind a bad OL last season.
George Wrighster III@georgewrighster

Arch may go #1 in the draft next year but people acting like he is some generational prospect are lying to you. He’s very talented, but hasn’t put it together on a consistent basis yet.

@JoeMama158710 If he looks good in preseason action, maybe a meaningless game here or there, I think he could be attractive as a bridge QB to someone once his rookie deal runs out Call it the Tanner McKee plan

@chrisfallica @PSchrags Or they are all have elite offensive minds running the show who are focused on making picks with very specific offensive roles in mind, along with the gravitas to override any concerns about the consensus board Most of the biggest reaches for those teams were offensive players.

One big talking point from this Draft is the teams that took their guys and trusted "their" boards vs "consensus". Bears, Rams, Jags, and most notably -- 49ers -- had the largest Deltas between their picks and where the Consensus Big Boards listed. All playoff teams in '25. 🤷🏼‍♂️

This is why the Commanders drafted WR Antonio Williams That No. 2 spot is WIDE open... and Williams has played a ton of snaps. Four year starter Likely best in the slot - think Tyler Boyd thanks to zone feel - but maybe there's more youtu.be/0R9nnj8zUjM

#Giants GM Joe Schoen aggressively denied the trade rumors regarding Kayvon Thibodeaux. From my understanding, talking to a team who had conversations with the Giants about the DE, talks took place a month, month+ ago. They were not recent.

@eliknowsall @allinkid I didn’t say anything about Wicks. Brown, Smith and Dallas are still ahead of him. They are a run first team with an average of 200 yards a game. Where do you think the targets and consistency is going to come from?

@allinkid I really can’t get behind Lemon at 1.03 with that landing spot and 3rd- 4th option for targets. Especially for a Wr that lives off of targets.
