@chaz7924 Caroline, I absolutely agree! We have experienced the same recently. Working on #B329LeadershipChallenge would have been easier in person rather than remotely. Yet this is the time we are living now and it will only increase in the coming years. It's the way forward. #lesstravel

@MiriamCullen2 Yes #trust is very important, efficiency and performance are also important and this can be decreased when teams are fractured and working from home, collaborative working is much quicker & easier if your working in same building, #compromises & #flexibility are definitely needed

In Wk14 of #OUB329, I have realized that you need to really listen to the local stakeholders and involve creativity to deal with wicked problems such as Family for every child faces in Mumbai.

Is a positive-sum leadership even possible? Theoretically, yes, but achieving a win-win situation for internal and external stakeholders is very challenging and rather rare; resulting in difficult decisions for leaders to be made. #OUB329 Wk12 @_NicolaMcDowell

Sometimes a conflict is unnecessary but it doesn't need to be destructive. If all stakeholders are considered and heard then constructive dissent practice can bring better results compared to leadership running away from conflicts. #OUB329 Wk11 @_NicolaMcDowell

In Wk7 of #OUB329, I have learned 3 step approach of looking inward rather than outward when facing difficult situations or people. I will also try to upright my posture and breath more in those situations to get a better perspective at that moment. @_NicolaMcDowell

In Wk5 #OUB329 I have learnt that an educational setting achievements start with a happy culture. Also, reverting toxic culture requires a strong leader with personal ethos aligned with the happy culture who can mobilize all stakeholders and bring them on board.
