Think of when you promise someone you'll do something....& you don't even come close to doing it - at work, around the house, to your kid, whatever. Only two reasons why you miss the mark so badly: 1. You failed at doing what you said you'd do & tried hard, but still failed. It happens. Most of us usually admit when we didn't meet the moment. 2. You never intended to keep your promise. It was said to distract, to run the clock, or, just maybe, to make sure you got elected. Perhaps once a majority government was achieved, it only takes a few days & the mask is ripped off, like a Scooby Doo villain. But there really isn't a 3rd option. Is there?

Easy to not negotiate with the US (or Mexico!) when you don’t want a new deal, because you poll better w/ a certain demographic when there’s trade tension, a boogeyman (of course Trump is terribly difficult to negotiate with - we get that) & no deal. Even many Liberals see this & know this - but they know it’s about power & keeping it.

Trump's Defense Secretary, CIA Director, and top general are at the podium praising Trump like he flew the mission himself. He simply rubber-stamped the rescue that should have never needed to happen in the first place. The bravery and admiration belongs to the troops and pilots who volunteered, flew into the line of fire, and brought each other home. Trump got them into this mess. That's his legacy here.

This should've been done by Obama, Clinton, the Bushes.
