Simply because we want to. You think the US couldn't have just genocides the entire country? Afghanistan was conquered in weeks, same with Iraq. Iran's navy, airforce, factories are destroyed. The US could just destroy the country completely.... why? Because that isnt the goal.

There is some truth to this. Most even moderately good players have game plans against the better teams. To widen the skill expression gap you have to take the opponent in a direction they are unfamiliar(Where you are at least more familiar than they are) even though it might not be 100% optimal.

I woke up at position 30,000 in the pokemon champions ranking and decided to build a proper meta balance team, really strong and leading floette to play seriously and try to go for champion rank I'm now at position 50,000 in the ranking

@snoopy369 @SoliSolitaires Seems like there would eventually be crowding at the tier then. As players can never go down, only up. A player can just get lucky in lower tiers after bashing their head against the wall.

日本と仲良くしたい、って旭日旗振ってるイラストあげてくれる外国人に悪気はないのかもしれないけど、 日本でも旭日旗ってちょっとヤバいやつが好きなものだから。 あんなの公式の場で絶対使われないし、 暴走族とか右翼の変な人しか使ってない。 だいたいの普通の日本人は、 旭日旗使わない。

The Ainu were natives of Japan, and were slowly invaded, kicked out and/or assimilated. That... is an undisputed fact. I don't think there is much meaning to the who is the most native native game... Point blank... You want the current culture/tradition of Japan to maintain stability and familiarity. That is not a bad ask. You do not need any justification for wanting that.

@Miru173 @no_dupes How do you respect a 20% chance for speed to not matter? Imagine if there was a 20% chance for defenses to not matter and a move just OHKOs. You can't play around that kind of RNG. Especially when you don't know who has Quick Claw until it activates.

California is trying to pass a bill that would criminalize investigative journalism with misdemeanors, $10,000 fines, imprisonment, and content takedown. The proposed bill is titled AB 2624 and was made after I exposed mass fraud by immigrant groups in America. Under AB 2624, government-funded entities like the Somali “Learing” Daycare centers would be protected from being exposed if they operated inside California. The enemy truly is within. When our politicians would rather protect fraudsters and illegal migrants, it’s time for us to stand up or face mass oppression from the traitors who “rule” over us.
