@ScottGottliebMD Scott, I have teams in the field across the US vaccinating. We should have a massive federal campaign educating the public beginning 4-6 weeks prior to starting. My recommendation is plan it now, launch it by September preparing for the BA4 bivalent. But don't hold your breath.

It is time for the CDC, all state and county health departments and leaders in the US and World to transition from using the term "booster" when describing the third injection ( or second with J&J). Effective immediately COVID mRNA vaccinations are now a three shot series.

@CDCgov It is time for the CDC and WHO to phase out the word "booster" when referring to an additional vaccination for COVID. It is the third required shot ( or second for J & J) in the series. Those with two shots have partial immunity. Tell the American people the truth please.
