I did my teacher training with @NTSCITT 3 years ago. I wouldn’t have finished without the amazing support I reviewed throughout, especially after I broke my arm🤦🏼‍♀️ I now lead a very busy Early Years Unit in the most amazing school 🍎❤️ I would 100% recommend, they are the best!!

We desperately need to refurbish our EYFS garden, we can’t even afford to refill our sandpit. Myself and one of the parents are running the Gateshead 10k and great north run to be able to fund it ourselves. It shouldn’t be like this, it isn’t fair on the children.

As an EYFS teacher I have a habit of putting all the weird and wonderful things the children give me in my pocket and forgetting about them… today a SNAIL came out on my washing machine 😭 must check my pockets next time 🤦🏼‍♀️

To 4, they get 4 points and I get 6. At the end of the day we add up all the points. It has 2 big wins - they want to be ready as quickly as possible to get maximum points and we practise our number bonds. #year1 #ks1

Invented a new classroom management game this week. Basically when I want the class to sit on the carpet ready to learn, I count down from 10. Whatever number I land on when they are ready is how many points they get. I get the number of points needed to make 10. So, if I get

Taking some time to reflect on just how far my reception class have come so far this year. From not being able to pick up a pencil, to writing short sentences completely independently. I am so proud of them. I would like to take the credit but @SWLiteracy is amazing.
