Had the pleasure of watching a pair of greylag geese circle the lake before landing #NewshamPark a rare sight for our little piece nature. I hope they stay a while, the other geese and coots didn't seem keen @RSPBLiverpool @LiverpoolParks @_BTO @SimonHuthwaite @Natures_Voice

Not Brent they're too light. Greylag? Bigger than mallard but smaller than Canada

How lovely to see 6 tufted ducks and 4 little grebes on #NewshamPark big lake this morning also saw (and heard) 2 swans flying over as I left, don't know if they landed or flew over. Resident swans were on the small lake @RSPBLiverpool @_BTO
