As you know, I’m a teacher, and I could really use your support in trying to get my #Title1 students a holiday gift. This year‘s gift is really personal to me. I recently lost my grandmother, who was my best friend, and who loved to crochet. In my classroom, I have crocheted #emotionalsupportpals that the students love to have on their desk while they’re working to keep them #motivated and #inspired if needed. All of my students ask to borrow one every day. While thinking of my grandmother, I thought of the idea of getting each student a kit where they can make their own crocheted emotional support animals, ones where they can write their own #inspirational messages to themselves. The spirit of my grandmother’s #Kindness will reach 80 students through this project, which is one of the best ways I could #honor her during this first holiday season without her. Any amount you can give or a R/T is extremely helpful and generous. (You can opt out of the Donors Choose suggested donation at checkout if you want the total amount donated to go directly to the project.) My grandmother was a phenomenal woman who was incredibly kind, incredibly humble, very spiritual, and always had a smile on her face.
