@greateranglia How long until you run this evacuation 2.5 hours stuck no water no actual correspondence and pt add insult to injury trains going past. Think more than a ticket refund is required here

ℹ️Currently we are blocked towards London. However services able to run using the other line to by pass 06:00 Norwich to Liverpool Street service. Services between Colchester and Clacton On Sea will begin to run. Some services are running from Colchester towards Ipswich and Norwich. Network Rail staff have cut back the tree, and have tried to re energise the power. However there is tree debris caught on the overhead wire equipment of the 06:00 Norwich to Liverpool street service, which is London side of Colchester. This service needs to be rescued. A controlled evacuation of this train will be carried out. Services will be subject to cancellations, alterations and delays. Limited rail replacement buses have bee sourced to Colchester and Ipswich, arriving between 09:00-09:30. Expect delays due to road traffic.
