Researchers are increasingly looking to medical/health research charities for patient & public involvement (PPI) support. We've worked with the MRCG '#PPI Shared Learning Group' to develop a form to help the process. Here's a snapshot of the sort of things we will want to know.

A #RareDisease is one that affects less than 5 in 10,000 people. Approximately 300,000 children and adults in Ireland are living with a rare disease – it’s not rare to have a rare disease. #RareDiseaseDay

The theme for #RareDiseaseDay 2019 is 'Bridging health and social care'. This theme focuses on bridging the gaps in coordination between medical, social and support services, to tackle the challenges faced everyday by people and families living with a #raredisease.
