This week has felt like a full term

Knowing and using pupils’ names is the closest we have to witchcraft in teaching. It completely changes virtually all interactions, whether you’re teaching, covering, on duty, and so on.

Really struggling today. I love my job and I love live teaching, but headaches are getting worse, screen break is non existent, every day feels exactly the same and I’m absolutely exhausted 😞

I will delete this later, but... my mum has died this evening. I've phoned various relatives and hugged my kids but now I'm at a loss of what to do. What do you do when your mum dies? I feel adrift. (250 miles away so can't quite pop around tonight....)
