Hey @SouthwestAir. How is this not price gouging? This is a 45 minute flight from Pho to Vegas, Friday to Sunday.

Hearing the @SouthwestAir staff have to beg their paying customers to gate check their bags over and over again when it is a problem they created themselves is the most annoying part of air travel!

Frequent business traveler here and formal loyal @SouthwestAir customer. Today’s flight featured: -no working WiFi, -nonstop reminders that ‘bin space is limited’ - warnings the plane was ‘at weight limit’ and passengers may need to be removed because cargo takes priority.

We see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere. That's us, together, watching as our astronauts make their journey to the Moon.

@newstart_2024 I don’t think this will age well for her. Discouraging woman to pursue their dreams, whether that be in the workforce or the home, is not something I subscribe too. One size does not fit all!

NEW: Two skiers save the life of a man who was suffocating under snow after getting stuck at Palisades Tahoe resort in California. The skiers were seen stopping in the powder before noticing a ski sticking out of the snow. “For whatever reason we stopped and happen to just see tips of the skis in the whiteout and luckily we did,” said Carson Schmidt. “Just want it to be a reminder to ski safe and ski with a buddy. New @SouthwestAir seating policy. I’m in a full row unable to move, is anything sacred anymore?

Started ‘dating’ other airlines after being a 10+ year loyal @SouthwestAir traveler, due to new changes that they have implemented. Flight today on @AmericanAir - boarding was seamless. Plenty of overhead bin storage. Flight was not full, row to myself and free wifi. ✔️

If you wonder what the new boarding process looks like at @SouthwestAir here is a video from today’s flight. They turned their passengers into baggage handlers passing each others luggage up to the front so that people can deplane. 😂😂😂

@MissesLDub @SouthwestAir Come someone to explain? Are people sitting in the back boarding earlier and stowing their bags in the front of the plane? Why wouldn’t people use the overheads above their seats?

@WSJ Completely unimpressed with the new changes. Well earned A-list or A-list preferred status feels non-existent with the new seat selection/ boarding group process. The fact that bin space is taken above your empty seat before you even board is a big problem!

@SouthwestAir now on day 2 of flying with your new process. Things are going to need to change if you want to keep your loyal status travelers and high spending card holders: *If you pay for a premium seat, or earn one with status, that should come with BIN space above your seat

*Boarding time was longer. New ‘group #’ boarding process takes away status benefits of being A-Lister. Even if it’s one of the first 2 groups to board, that’s not a benefit if all the bin space is already taken. People are having to go to the back of the plane to find bins

*A-list status becomes much less valuable if you have to ‘check 48 hours before flight’ to get a better seat. Why are you making your most loyal customers be inconvenienced to check back in and ‘see what’s still open’?
