@AgkistroZero @silverlock The rulebook has a mini setting (the gyre). There is the Atlas that was already mentioned, and there is "The Diocesi of Montfroid", which details a small part from the Atlas and has a 4 level dungeon.

@silverlock Does Worlds Without Number actually have a setting to dive into? I saw it presented as such a DIY rules set for making your own sci fi setting.

Numenera is a TTRPG that I enjoyed the world building of, but not the actual mechanics. I think there is a new edition but this is the edition I have. There is something about a story that looks like a fantasy world, but is actually the far future. Like The Dying Earth books by Jack Vance. That’s one of the reasons I first picked up The Worlds without Number game and it’s atlas when I first heard of it.

@MarkLazerus I feel like this show is lesser than the sum of its parts, if that makes sense. There's so much good there, but I feel like the people making the decisions frequently fumble the ball. Hopeful for season 3.

Slept on this. I wasn’t a *huge* fan of Vance’s Dying Earth stuff (though I enjoyed it), but holy cow. This is the stuff of absolute perfection for me - somewhere between King Arthur, A Midsummer Nights Dream and A Song of Ice and Fire. Highly recommended.
