Shows how much optimism there is for the future. It’s been bought and now moved thru two companies I consider to be “Where good things go to die”. It used to be really good but is now garbage.

Wow sent a help email to scouting/fertility software I’ve used for years because they removed good parts of the software that has made it basically unusable. Explained I have to use competing software to get a usable report. Their response was to continue moving to competition.

I’ve found a lot of things while scouting fields from dolls, knives, and all kinds of metal but finding a actual coconut on the banks of the Assiniboine River in Manitoba definitely tops the “How did that get there” list

Trying to strip till the garden this year, fall rye and mow between rows. Plus my first spuds and corn are out of the ground already.

@Plantmore1 We’ve had good success but needs to be a quality product properly processed. Tried a lot in the past that were junk or a PIA to use. Haven’t seen good results from raw product (Humalite/leonardite). Product pH is important, how it disperses in water and at what pH it breaks down

Who is using Humic’s on their farm in western Canada? Mostly interested in hearing about it being used in a conventional system with chem and fert.

@AllamFarmer Definitely VR it, pH can be highly variable, and map it with something that actually measures the causes of your pH. pH is the result of an imbalance of Ca, Mg, & K. Zones measure something different then composite samples after the fact, you need a grid or SoilOptix is best.

@rhofford Generally a burnoff with a residual product then prism & sencor in crop for weeds. Long list for CPB seed treatment to start with then sometimes we have to go over top, don’t waste your time with Decis/matador.

@MitchellBlyth Any difference between the canola 150 ft apart? What's your suspicion on why one place is getting eaten alive?

@rhofford On a 90 corner I prefer to take corner halfway then back into corner and take off again. Just turning the corner that inside boom is going way to fast even with turn compensation in new sprayers I see weed escapes in corners. Fungicides however just turn, don’t need extra tracks

@Mullin_95 Try dealing with Trimble Ag mobile, last year they changed fields to “crop zones”. Constantly making updates that don’t help or not needed but never the 20 suggestions I’ve sent them of things that are broke or would make it so much better. @TrimbleCorpNews @ptx_trimble
