@lane_stapp @C2Cbsbl Logan is not the type of pitcher whose decline will be as stark as some others. I think he can pitch effectively into his late 30s because he’s a pitcher who doesn’t rely excessively on velocity.

@SkligZ @grantcohn Our safety play is going to be mostly garbage with the players we have. There's some hope for Mustapha, but the rest are turds. The front 7 are going to have to be an elite unit or our back end will be exposed for a ton of big plays

@grantcohn I think we need elevated safety play too. Maybe not probowl but quality. Stout needs to build off a good year and Green needs to improve as well.

@SierraTechPR @EldridgeIsKing I mistyped. I meant games were blown where the offense scored 6+ runs. Games like may 29th, june 25th, July 5th. These are heartbreaking losses. The offense had been rolling since mid May, but the pitching was mostly awful

@EldridgeIsKing The bullpen deserves blame, but the offense deserves more. Too many games reach the 9th at 3-2 because the Giants can't score. Make it 6-2 & the bullpen isn't under constant pressure. A putrid offense leaves zero margin for error. Maybe 5 games better with Rodriguez in the pen.

@grantcohn One of the reasons he was a candidate for MVP was his ability to catch passes out of the backfield… you can’t run a stacked box against Christian McCaffrey. He will burn you the the flat and catch a dump off for 20 yards
